Free Gardening Class: Weed Identification!

and yes, the tomatoes will be ready for the food bank!
July 31, 6-8 PM August 3, 4-6 PM

Come learn how to identify weeds at the upcoming work parties. Weeds are often considered pesky plants that take up room and soak up nutrients, but many of them are actually some of the most nutritious plants in the world. Come learn about these amazing plants:

  1. learn their medicinal or edible properties
  2. learn how to add them to food or make into simple home remedies
  3. learn how to create compost or build mulch with weeds

To sign up to help and learn, send an email to leah@trilliumcenter.org.

Refreshments will be served. At the community garden behind the Conneaut Human Resources Center, 327 Mill St. Conneaut OH 44030

Please share this widely, we are still building up a good volunteer base for the CHRC’s community garden.
